Windows XP Dialup Connection

1. Click start menu and then Control Panel .

2. Double click Network & Internet Connections .

3. Double click Network connection >>>>> click make new connections, choose Connect to the Internet. click NEXT >>>> Setup my Connection manually >>>> Click Next  >>>> Connect using Dialup Modem.

4. Type ISP Name EIM and Type in Phone number (dial up no) 4004444

5. In the user name field type your username and passowrd. Select Make this default connection & click next

6. Select Add Shortcut to Desktop and Click Finish.

7. Right mouse click on the new created connection icon (EIM), and select properties .

8. In the Phone No make sure the Use Country Code & Area code ( dialling roules )   not selected     ( Not checked ).

9. Make sure that your modem the modem ( mobile ) type is selected .

10. In the advanced options Section make sure thate ONLY Enable soft ware compression is selected  ( Checked ).

11. In the network Protocols make sure thate ONLY TCP/IP is selected ( checked ) .

12. Press (click ) on ok button to end the setting

13. Double click on the new created connection (EIM) >>>> type in  the user name and the password and click on CONNECT button the here you are connected to the internet.
